Flipped Spelling Words

Amanda Arbuckle from Concord Elementary recently "flipped" her spelling words.  Instead of trying to force all her kids to learn basic information like this at the exact same pace/time, she created this video for them to watch as needed.   As kids came into the room Amanda had this playing on the projector screen.  While they followed the directions on the video, she was free to move around the room and help her students as needed.

Parma Elementary Principal, Sue Haney, and her latest blog post "If the dance floor is empty . . .".  Great advice for her staff (and the rest of us).

Alaina Sharp, chemistry teacher at Western High School, shares her "Scaredy Squirrel Does a Lab" lab safety project.

My favorite quote:
"I loved that I took a risk and tried this project.  Not only do I think it was more fun than what I have done in the past, but I know the students got a lot more out of it and will be more likely to remember it throughout the year."
